Is Tea Party thinking sometimes abstract and obtuse?

Well the real tea party was an important symbolic act. Today's "tea party" doesn't know what it is talking about. The founding fathers and those who took part in the real tea party would be disappointed at the stupidity coming from today's "tea party."
